Exactly what I was looking for. I love that this is heavy and stays easily on my cup without worrying to knock it off like the plastic ones. The #2 filter is just right. It extends a quarter inch above the holder, but then I can fill the water up to the edge of the cone holder. The time it takes to drip through is perfect for me. The grounds are soaked long enough for a rich delicious cup of coffee. And the color is fun!

This makes great coffee. It takes 2.5 minutes to boil 8oz of water in microwave and about another minute to poor the water through this coffee maker. This is a great way to make a great cup of coffee exactly the way you like it. I use a number 2 filter and about 3 tablespoons of dark coffee for 8oz water. Go crazy do it your way.
