One of them burned out, but I think it was because I accidentally wired the connections wrong but the second one worked really well. Just make sure you’re Connecting them right.

I bought these by the numbers and installed it first time using it blew the whole side out. I double checked the wiring from a picture I took before removing the old one and it was correct. I ordered one locally and it works great.

This is the type of general purpose relay that is used in lots of industrial equipment, such as kilns or any other equipment requiring the ability to switch 240 volts at up to 30 amps. All mechanical relays wear out eventually, so it's always a good idea to have spares on hand. They are easy to swap out when necessary by just slipping the spade connectors off of the old relays and onto the same pins of the new ones. I replace the relays in my kilns routinely as a preventative maintenance measure.

This is a nice pair of relays. I confirmed that 9-12vdc will trip the coil and the contacts (2) N.O., are rated for line voltage and 1-3 HP motors. Nice Find. I use these along with contactors to control heavy equipment in my wood shop.Cheers
