I bought this power web for rehab on my hand after undergoing a fairly complex operation on my wrist in which I was casted for 6 weeks. I had a lot of pain and weakness once the cast was removed. This tool came in great use once I started strengthening exercises. It has a great deal of resistance, so it is certainly not for use early in the recovery process of a complex hand or wrist surgery.Another very functional use that I found for it was in assisting me with the transition to bearing weight again through the hand. It allowed for a very gentle and comfortable weight transfer, well before I was able to comfortably get my hand flat on a hard surface. It would be ideal for a non-injured hand looking to increase strength and endurance. It is very well constructed and is extremely sturdy - more so than other products that I have seen from other suppliers. No hesitations in recommending this product, as long as the buyer knows that the green is very stiff and offers a great deal of resistance. Other colors may be more appropriate for certain persons.

Mum had a stroke, which affected the ability to close and open her right hand smoothly. Lately, the therapist recommended her to exercise with a power web for closing and opening her hand. She found it useful as her hand could open wider after the exercises.

Physical therapist recommended this for my father for his hand exercises and help regain his grip strength after a stroke. I think it's worth the price, and it feels like a quality product that won't easily break or lose elasticity anytime soon

I'm using this to work on rehabilitating a nagging case of tennis elbow. I'm not sure what brought on my symptoms, so I can't really address their cause. But, I'm hopeful that between this and an anti-inflammatory I'll get relief. This little hand exerciser is well constructed and practical. You can do a variety of exercises with one device, which is why I like it. The red junior size one I got is small enough to toss in my lunch bag and take to work. I've even used it in the car. It takes a little getting used to, to figure which holes and angles to work your various forearm muscles, so it's not perfect. But, it is very versatile. If you're working fingers for playing an instrument, this is probably not going to work. It it difficult to get the same angle as you'd use to depress a guitar string or horn valve. If you're looking to gain massive, bone-crushing grip strength, this is probably not the right tool for that either. It has a good degree of "give" to it.I'll report back as to whether it seems to be helping with the tennis elbow.

I broke a wrist a while back and, after 6 weeks of plaster almost from the elbow down to the tip of my fingers, I needed a lot of physical therapy. At PT I hat to use this tool. It hurt a lot a first, but later, I decided I should continue PT on my own. The therapist told me I could find it on Amazon. Been using it a lot ever since. Very useful to regain perfect mottion in the hand and wrist.

I've been utilizing the green PowerWeb at PT therapy. It was recommended I get the blue to continue after PT and that id never need to go beyond blue.I'm already using it carefully so not to overwork and make for swelling or pain. I love it! It's awesome with so many different ways to use it to keep or gain strength and flexibility in the fingers, thumb, wrist and forearms.
