bought this to reinstall the crank pulley on my 2009 mercury mariner v6 duratech engine. worked great. I did not use this to remove the pulley. The pulley required a different style puller to remove. I purchased this mainly because I have other powerbuilt tools that have been pretty good quality and most if the fly by night mfgs selling tools here are gone or change names too often.

This type of installer is so much better. The large diameter disc that sits against the balancer ensures that It travels nice and strait, the smaller cheaper ones can let it go crooked and why I had to get this one.

Works Great, pulls and installs harmonic balancers. One of the best cases I've seen on tools. Unlike other no name brands, which all uses the same cases. The case Alltrade uses has heavy duty hinge that aprox 80% of the length of the case(see the picture on amazon). When closed, the case has raised lettering with the description of the tooling and part number, not some half glued on label on top, like other brands. Plus if you don't know how to use the puller, there's instructions bolted onto the center of the case, and its not some flimsy glued piece of paper. Looks like its in English and Spanish. Its some kind of heavy duty laminated paper.The only con I have is the bolts don't have flanges on them, you have to use the supplied washer, but that's just my personal preference.This is my first Powerbuilt brand tooling that I've bought, i've been working in the automotive industry for 20yrs, mostly with Snap-on and Matco tools. I am definitely going to purchase more Powerbuilt brands in the future. All this for just 66.08 after taxes too.

this thing is amazing and i wish i would have purchased it sooner. accidentally installed an ATI damper that wasn't honed to the right size and nearly got it stuck on. this thing with a heat gun did the trick when i was almost certain i'd have to cut it off. love this thing.

look good but did not last not even one damper. worst tool I ever buy!!!ok as installer , not for remover.
