Works very well on bigger fish such as walleye. There are a few spots on the fish you'll have to scale off with a fork but for the price, it's a great tool.

This is an adult only tool. It has no safety on it. As an adult I liked not having to press two twitches to turn it on. Powerful. Descales fast! Literally seconds to clean the scales off. If you rinse the blade immediately after use it cleans up effortlessly. Overall I'm very happy and would recommend this unit.

The scaler works well and speeds up the time needed to complete multiple fish.However the blade is set to spinning anti-clockwise causing a real mess. No instructions on making it go clockwise

The scaler was excellent when fully charged ,not so good when the wears down . But I'll say hat its pretty good at scaling when using your own personal muscles

I actually love the fish scaler it does a great job but the instructions are horrible and actually led to me almost losing a finger had I not been wearing a puncture proof fish glove. Holding the fish head as instructed with one hand, the scaler with the other as instructed is not the thing to do, the scaler moves FAST when it touches the fish which the scaler glided across the fish up to the head and caught my finger/glove and the glove was twisted into the blades. I PANICKED!! Then eventually got free leaving me with a bloody hole in my fingernail and pain for two days. The glove saved my finger because it was inside my puncture proof glove.. after taking a few minutes to gather myself I just used one hand and proceeded VERY VERY slowly and carefully and got the job done.. it cleaned the fish perfectly but this experience really traumatized me! Sorry for long post but I felt this was NECESSARY to let others know about. 😊 PLEASE BE CAREFUL IF U PURCHASE THIS ITEM!!

Very powerful tool, wear strong gloves when operating for protection. One has to develop some skill using it, not very useful for smaller fish.

Leider war nur ein Stecker für das US Stromnetz geliefert worden. Musste einen Adapter für 14,00 Euro erst kaufen um den Akku zu laden. Hand Schupper sehr minderwertiges Blech!Auch ist das ganze in China hergestellte Gerät sehr minderwertig. Würde davon abraten es zu erwerben.Dr. Michael Klotz
