I was skeptical because of some of the reviews complaining about the quality. I find them to be high quality and sturdy construction. The scissors are a game changer. They are very sharp and cut through the shell easily to create a seam for removing crab leg meat. They can also cut through knuckles or cut legs in half at the joints.The plastic pieces are better quality than the ones at the local crab shack. We wash the stainless pieces and dry immediately to prevent rusting or oxidation. We have used, washed and dried them several times and they still appear brand new. I definitely do not put them in the dishwasher, use harsh chemicals or leave in the sink or soaking in water. I think anyone that does not think these are good quality is expecting too much. In my opinion, they are excellent quality for the price point.

This set is amazing! Made picking crab and other things so much easier. The bag is also great for keeping all the pieces together. My only complaint is that the scissor handles are very thin making it uncomfortable on the thumb after picking. If they were just a bit wider, they would be 5-stars!

A friend ordered King Crab Legs from Alaska but did not have the tools to crack/cut them open. I ordered these. They are perfect. The scissors cut through the shell so easily. Crackers worked good and the little picker forks were just right. My friend loaned them to another friend, got them back and hosted another crab event ... so getting plenty of use :-) If you have a need .... I recommend!

Nice quality set. So many little gadgets too. Easy to clean, easy to use, stores well with its own little storage bag. Great set for the money.

Like the value and the scissors, but the metal used for the crackers can’t stand up to particularly thick shells, like the claw for a big lobster. My cracker bent in my hands and we had to throw it out.

Never struggle with cracking crab again... I worked in a high end seafood restaurant for over 5 years.... I'm a crab cracking expert. With or without the cracker help. This is the Most fantastic set I've ever used or even seen.... The sizzors are Genius and so sturdy and sharp. They cut through the Crab legs like butter. I highly recommend. Especially for the price. 2 complete sets it's amazing. No waiting while the Crab gets cold.... I can't say enough. If I could give it 10 stars, I would....

The crackers are not made from 100% metal. You can tell by the weight and feel. But they all seem to do the job. It is less expensive than other brands. Only used once on crab and it was fine.
