When I purchased my Dewalt 735 planer, I read it would overwhelm a shop vac, so I got this bag to catch the chips. I purchased a separate 2.5" hose and 4" to 2.5" coupler, then connected the bag. This has worked well and keeps the wood chips out of my garage shop. The extremely fine dust comes out of the bag, but that was expected. I always wear a dust mask when working in the shop.

I put this bag on my Dewalt 735 thickness planer and it works great. Hardly no dust and all the chips end up in the bag! The only reason I gave it a 4 star is the stitching wasn’t sewn correctly in an area about an inch long and do get some dust out of the hole gap . I still recommend buying.

Have used the bag enough to fill it twice with saw dust. The bag does its job. It is a lighter material than I expected, but it works well.

I purchased this Powertec dust bag on February 9th, 2025. I used it for the first time today, February 17th, 2025, and discovered that they missed about 4 inches of stitching at the zipper. Big hole on the bottom. Unfortunately, I didn't notice it right away and it made a mess in my shop. The bag is also covered in dust and chips so I feel its not really returnable now. I will attempt to break out the needle and thread and close it up. Rather disappointing. I cannot recommend this Powertec product.
