These are wonderful mittens. Very nice looking and they fit well. I would say these might run a little small. I have very small hands and the medium size just fits me. They're not quite as warm as the cheaper fleece-lined leather mittens I replaced. While these are very comfortable, on a close to zero degree day, my hands don't stay really warm. I believe that's due to the individual fingers inside the mittens. By separating the fingers you lose the heat they share when the whole hand is together. Also, these are a much tighter-fitting glove, so I can't make a fist inside the glove as I could with the cheaper mittens. I do love these--they are soft and much dressier than my old ones, but if I find those again (they were an Aldi's special), I'll get them to wear on walks on colder days.

I bought these because a beloved Minnesota brand was always sold out of their famous deerskin gloves. These are better (all leather instead of just a leather grip) and less expensive than those! These have to be one of the best kept Amazon secrets. As beautiful as an expensive artisan brand, high quality as a work glove, and even fit my small hands perfectly (I had been a bit worried about that). I think I'll gift these to my family this year and get more colors for myself. Edit later: these aren't super duper warm. They would be fine in 30+ degree weather but in Minnesota winters below 0° my fingers were pretty chilly. They're still beautiful though. Good for driving.

These are the best mittens ever. The leather is soft and supple. They are cut longer than some similar styles and offer great wrist coverage... even if your coat sleeves ride up while you're driving. The snug, gloved lining provides extra warmth and comfort.

For years, I had a pair of gloves-inside-mittens, what I called "Glittens." They were smooth, fine leather mittens on the outside and microfiber gloves on the inside. I lost them. I was very sad!Did a search here on Amazon for "Mittens with Gloves Inside"--and I found these. I think they cost about twice as much as my old favorites, but I was so glad to find that something like these are still made!The leather is a touch stiff, but I think they'll soften with time. The microfiber inside is soft. They are warm and wonderful, even in bitter cold and for long periods of time. Why others haven't discovered these, I don't know. They're good for walking, good for driving, good for shoveling snow, good for just about everything, except using a smart phone. Sure wish I could shout how great these are from the rooftops!I have large hands--wear a size 9.5 ring. These XL *just* fit. I had considered ordering the L, and I am glad I sized up.Oh, the delight of warm fingers in winter!

These are lovely mittens. The leather is butter soft and the interior with separate slots for your fingers is bot comfortable and warm. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars is sizing. My hands are 7 3/4" from wrist to finger tip and 7.5" around, so long and thin. I generally wear a large or 9 for length. I ordered a large. The fingers and hand itself fit fine, however the elastic for the wrist hit about 1.2" too high. With a short cuff, this leaves the wrist exposed. I fell the design should lengthen the mitt from tip to wrist and make the cuff 1/2 to 1" longer and slightly less flared.Having said all of that, the are wonderfully comfortable, perfect for day to day and work while keeping my hands warm in our subzero temperatures

These were soft and would block wind but they don't have individual finger liners as they stated in the description. I need the extra warmth the finger liners provide as I have Raynauds. I also felt they run a little large which made them too awkward to do anything with while wearing them. I need them to walk my dog in the cold and windy weather but my hands still got very cold after a not that long a walk. I have other leather mittens with finger liners that are much better.

These mittens were recommended by two friends, who also suffer from "bloodless" fingers in cold weather. The leather is incredibly soft and flexible. The finger liners inside make your fingers feel warm. The outer leather stops the cold getting in and the warmth getting out. I've never had any gloves/mittens that are so comfortable and warm. These run small - I have small hands and had originally ordered the medium size, but returned them for the large size, which fit perfectly.

I ordered a pair of these two or three years ago and while they were still in relatively good condition, I decided to treat myself to a new pair for next winter. I also ordered my mom a pair. I normally wear a medium but I found the large in these fit more like a medium. But...they are the warmest most durable leather mittens. I am able to unlock my car door, use door handles etc. because of the fingers in the mittens. They are so comfy. Love these!
