This is a very good rain gauge. It is designed well and made of high-quality material. It records rain amounts accurately, and it’s easy to read the measurement increments on the side of the tube. Several reviewers mentioned that the rain gauge can be difficult to disengage from the base plate. I sprayed a small amount of silicone in the grooves of the plate and the rain gauge slides in and out quite easily now.After using the gauge six weeks or so, I had a warranty issue. I contacted the company via the email address on the instructions and they were quick to respond. They were very helpful and remedied the situation for me. I’d say that their customer service was excellent.

Very pleased with this product. Love how easy it to attach and most importantly how visible to is to read and use the rain gauge! Super easy to use by removing cover and dump out inner tube of in of rain out then pour outside larger cylinder of water into inner cylinder to get a very a good measurement of rain total. The cover stays on even in strong winds as well… very well made

I bought this guage because of the low cost. All in all a good product but it is hard to get the gauge into the slots on the mounting bracket...the fit is too tight. This is my second gauge of this type...they look identical but the first guage, manufactured by another company and much higher cost, did not have this problem.

This is a large cylinder and easy to setup and read, should work great when the rain turns liquid again here in the north

Had to get a new one because the other one was old and finally hit the dust when I dropped the container. They do not last forever. I Enjoy having a clear view again of whatever rain we get.

I have been using this type of gauge for years. My original gauge broke after 20 years, I ordered this as a replacement. The first one that came had a crack in the center gauge tube. It was quickly replaced. I recommend if you want accurate rain readings.

I would have preferred it to measure in metric but it was easy to install, works well, is easy to read and is very accurate.
