I had first tried a hardware store's Pro Quality roller covers...trashed five of them....Whenever you paint 1948 plaster lathe walls, especially if covering primer over dark paint, expect texture coverage hell. That kind of wall will quickly tell you if you have a substandard roller cover. After dumping the store's rollers, I came here, read reviews and found these little miracles.I wish I had found these first. My sanity was spared. Two coat coverage, three days. Three roller covers. One for primer, one for walls, one for ceiling, and I got a rich velvety coverage. I could have still used the covers, but I ran out of walls to paint. Besides, they were so cheap, I tossed them. My wallet is smiling, I'm smiling and I have a beautiful room. No more texture hell. I had covers left, but I'm planning on painting more of the house, so I bought an extra pack. I put them on my shopping list. I will keep buying these as long as they remain this good quality.

I used these to paint the walls when I remodeled my master bathroom. The roller covers I typically buy from the brick and mortar stores locally are more expensive and sub-quality.First off - These had no fuzz on them - and I mean NONE. I usually unwrap a roller and then work it in my hands to try to get most of the loose fuzzies off of it before the first dip. But these didn't have any to speak of! I was pleasantly shocked to see this. The other 2 primary things I want out of a roller cover are a sturdy inner shell, absorbency that holds and flows a good amount of paint evenly, without splatter or dripping. These roller covers are as good as those costing far more - and compare well to the very best - made by the name brands. For the money, I have not found any as good. I recommend trying them on your next project.

After running around all over town looking for these, I got on Amazon and BAM! There they were! Exactly what I was looking for! Next time I need anything, I am going to check Amazon first!

Used these in painting the entire interior of a house. Trim and doors and cabinets mostly. Coming out for the sealed plastic, they are a little misshapen, but once you load them with paint, they work just fine. Cheap enough at this price to essentially be disposable, if your not inclined to clean your roller. Recommended.

The fibers come off in the paint. Very cheap.

This roller cover is so inexpensive that it's now worth cleaning. Just throw it away and use another after the paint has dried on it. It is soft and absorbent like more expensive ones, but it can shed a bit. To avoid this, use painter's tape to blot and remove loose fabric threads before use. Some people say throwing away rollers is wasteful. Would you rather rinse all that paint down the drain and possibly ending up in the water supply? I say use it once and toss it in the trash to be buried safely for eternity or burned cleanly for fuel. Although electricity generators which burn trash cleanly are still rare, they do exist. If your utility happens to use one, this roller will make excellent fuel.
