Both ends lock solidly and the length of the female end makes it very easy to make tidy cabling in any case. My only gripe is the lack of hardware. None of the 4 cables i got came with screws of and kind (not that i planned on using the self tapping screws shown in their pictures in our patch panel anyhow) so be prepared to provide your own when installing them.

I added new XLR cables to my sound case.This was great to add to the outside of the case to provide an easy pass through.I have had great sound quality with this product.I would recommend.

I got these for a custom patch bay for the back of my studio console. They were easy to install and saved me time on my bench soldering individual connectors. Now I can access the ins/outs of the analog effects, Symphony I/O, and Mellinia Preamps with ease. I could not detect any sound degradation.

This is exactly what I needed. It the cable is solid, the panel mount XLR is well built and the connection is well made. My problem is that I ordered the wrong plug on the other end. A new XLR plug and a bit of soldering and it’s perfect. Absolutely would buy another, but next time I’ll order the right one!

I used this to replace another type of female connector which did not hold the gooseneck microphone in place.I bought 5 more to replace all of my other connectors.
