This part was better than the original one from the manufacturer. The piece that holds the buttonhole ratchets and holds the button securely.

I've made several button holes and it worked perfect on my Brother CS-6000i sewing machine. I like that it's a one step process once you have it on your mark and the machine setup right for this foot and your button size.

I needed a new buttonhole presser foot when I thought I lost my original one. It's identical to the presser foot that came with my machine and works perfectly with my sewing machine. A great find for the cost and speedy delivery.

does not snap onto the presser foot holder (brother project runway model PC420) despite having the right part number.
