I have a tubeless setup on my mountain bike, so these presta valve cores are handy for maintenance, I will replace the valve cores when I next change out the sealant as cores are prone to getting gummed up. On my road bike I recently stated riding TPU tubes, these seem to vary in quality quite a bit and while I like the tubes themselves some of them I've found have low quality valve cores. One brand have got to the point where the presta valve doesn't open up properly when applying the pump head and then they just offer resistance to the pumping action. I was able to remove the valve core with this tool very easily and insert one of the new ones. This was an instant fix, and now the tube pumps up nicely. Having 9 more valve cores I am well set for future maintenance. The tool itself is anodized aluminum and is nicely machined. Highly recommended.(The picture in the listing showing the tool's usage wrongly labels the presta and the shrader ends of the tool, they should be switched.)

I wanted to have extra valves around for 1) when I use valve extenders and tubes and 2) when I decide to go 'tubeless'. Having spares is important, and I can carry extras with me when riding. The kit comes with a larger valve core tool (blue) and a smaller one (black). Both are small and light enough to take on a ride. I have not had a need to use the valves yet, and I'll update this review once I do.

A nice valve maintenance kit with all the stuff you'd need: 10 presta valve cores, 0 presta caps, a DT Swiss style valve core removal tool (plastic), a univeral valve core removal plastic (blue aluminum) and a presta-schrader adapter made of brass.The valve cores fit perfectly into the DT Swiss cores on my tubeless wheelset and the caps are good quality. The brass adapter is great for using my air compressor to inflate bike tires. The blue aluminum tool works well with presta, though overkill when compared to the black plastic one also included in the kit.

I replaced the Presta valve on one of my tubeless stems - fully compatible, went in without incident, and held pressure. I can't ask for more.The little tool that comes with it seems perfectly adapted for the serrated edge on the valve end, but it's a little trickier to work with a valve that is smoother. Not impossible, just noticeably different.

I recently purchased my first mountain bike with Presta valves, and needed the ability to service those valves - particularly since I intend to convert over to tubeless over the winter break.This kit is extremely complete, including anything you'll need for valve servicing. I like that it also included a Presta to Schrader adapter... something I've actually tossed in my biking backpack just in case I have an issue on the road and the only assistance is a pump that just has a Schrader outlet.In all, I'm extremely pleased with the completeness and quality of this kit.

Good valve core kit to service my MTB tires that are setup as tubeless tires with sealant. The sealant inevitably clogs up the valve cores over time making the tires really difficult to fill and adjust pressure levels. I find it easiest just to replace the valve cores a few times a year when the problem gets bad. This kit also comes with valve caps which is handy since they always get lost and a valve core removal tool. Good value.

I picked this up primarily to have a dedicated Presta valve core removal tool - this one is machined nicely and fits snugly over the shoulders of the valve. Getting the spare valve caps and valve cores is a nice bonus.
