The biggest surprise to me after buying this was that pancakes and waffles use the SAME BATTER!PROs:ZERO learning curve. The only failure you may see is a first batch burned or undercooked.VERY forgiving. You do NOT need to be overly concerned about putting exact amounts of batter or filling in the device. Batter expands - but only as much as needed. You won't see batter exploding out of the sides as it cooks, and you won't find empty pockets when you open it up.When using "complete" batter mix, you don't need to measure anything. You can eyeball the mix and water. You know the general consistency you are looking for. Too thick? It still works. Too thin? It still works. And still tastes the same...I put A LOT of filling (chicken, cheese, avocado) in one batch and barely covered the top and bottom with batter. I thought for certain it would be a disaster. Let it go to 6 min and it came out perfect. Yes, top and bottom of waffle was pretty thin, but it still came out great.A recommendation: Don't be shy about adding sauces (i.e guac, mayo, mustard, etc) as part of the filling. Carefully layering sandwich ingredients into the waffle after bottom layer is poured is a NO NO! Instead, prepare your filling stack before adding any batter. That way you can pour the lower layer, immediately drop in the prepared stack, and pour batter over it. In fact, I spread some sauce on my layers as I pre-make them.Don't be concerned about getting filling too close to the round edge. When the batter cooks, it will expand and press the fillings into the center. Just leave enough room for SOME batter.VERY large serving. This makes a THICK waffle. Easily 2 servings.EASY cleanup - as in NO cleanup. Nothing sticks to this thingEASY storage - when you are done, flip it vertically, use the little locking device, and store it. So simple.Works with many filling types. Cold sliced cheese easily melts as a filling.CONs:$50 is a lot for this product.Cannot easily tell when it is done. Instructions recommends 8 minutes. I find 6 is fine. It will depend on how much filling you have and what type,Not for use with raw eggs - need to cook them before adding as a filling. This is probably the biggest con.It can be tricky to remove a filled waffle from the unit. You will have a habit of trying to use the side tongs as "tongs". The waffle will easily slip out of their grasp. I put a paper plate upside down on top of the waffle and flip the oven over, letting the waffle fall on to the plate.Once removed from the unit, let the waffle cool on a plate, flipping it every minute or so. If you don't you will end up with a very soggy waffle on top (from the steam) and on the bottom (from filling fluid soaking through).

I honestly thought this was a little gimmicky but my son really wanted it, so we got it for him for his bday. Well, joke's on me because this thing is amazing! We've done chicken and waffles, bacon and eggs, and chili cornbread (in the video). It works perfectly with gluten free baking mixes, just make them according to the directions on the package, and use the same directions in the Stuffler booklet for cooking. If you do use dairy free alternative milks as we do sometimes, it won't brown as much, but it will be done and delicious. Highly recommend this, and I might get a second so I can have more ready at one time. Will make a great gift! My biggest tip which I forgot to mention on the video is to let ot heat up for a long time while preparing all your other ingredients...shopt for 10 mins. That will help it be non-stick and super easy to clean (just wipe it down).

We love waffles but eat keto so we regularly make chaffles (egg + cheese). I saw this and envisioned stuffing one with my keto cheesecake dip. I wasn’t sure if a stuffed chaffle would be just too much, but I was ready to find out!Recently we’ve been craving pizza and cauliflower crust wasn’t cutting it, so I instead pulled out a Garlic Parmesan chaffle recipe, pan fried some pepperoni, and did a quick search for best pizza sauce (Raos).I followed the directions in the booklet for stuffing and timing. The pizza stuffed chaffle was out of this world. Perfect in every way like we were served them somewhere. I wasn’t sure how it would bake to contain the filling on the sides but none of it oozed out. The tongs were easy to lift and transfer to plate. The iron was safe to touch to make a 2nd one to eat later. The best part - it was right up there for taste and texture with all the high carb gluten-filled pizzas we would otherwise get delivered at a fraction of the price while staying keto. The iron’s non-stick surface also made it so easy to clean. I found its shape and the fact that you remove the tongs made it much easier to clean than our other regular (mini) waffle iron. I particularly like its small footprint for storage. And who can beat the price? We can’t wait to use it again!!

The Pros:You dont have to use non stick spray or anything and it stays crazy clean so far.Seems well made, and the handle tong part was great.Works perfect and taste incredible! Felt like we had ordered at a fancy restaurant!Cons:No timer, no green light to let you know its preheated enough, etc. Just a switch and red light thats always on, All other waffle makers I have let you know in someway when its ready to pour in, and when its done. My daughter did hers first,,,she didnt measure or follow instructions, lol, over filled, but it still came out good! I followed measuring instructions and timed it with a timer, and mine was perfect. We each did different berries, with cream cheese, and then did cool whip and berry syrup on top.Honestly it was amazing. I figure it was 50 50 if it was alot of hype and not great...but WOW. Were already planning our next daddy daughter stuffed waffle - movie night! HIGHLY RECOMEND!!

My husband wanted this waffle maker for Christmas. It works awesome and the stuffed waffles are delicious. We have made some with fresh blueberries and some with a bit of cubed ham and shredded cheddar cheese. The waffles turn out great. We will be trying out a few more variations of filling next time. It it easy to handle and clean. Would definitely recommend.

Makes great waffles! Highly recommend! However do not pay anything extra for the combo with the norpro tongs they do not work in this waffle maker and you can't return them.Waffles are Crispy & fluffy, did some blueberry and peaches filling and they where lip smacking good. The recipe in the book for batter is good but a little thick I added an extra tablespoon of oil and 1/2 cup water but I was still struggling with covering up the bottom without adding to much batter kind of pushes the filling to one end.10/10 would recommend.
