This is a real nice stand, it's well made, sturdy and easy to put together.The people that gave this a bad review should pay someone else to put their stuff together, because apparently they don't know how to tighten screws.The only way the hook could have come loose and dropped the cage is if they didn't tighten it in the first place.I highly recommend this.UPDATE:It's been nearly a year and guess what? It hasn't killed my bird yet!This has been a great stand, my little bird can get his cage rocking pretty good during his wild play and the stand hardly moves at all.Disregard the negative reviews, it's easy to assemble, all the parts come with it, its very sturdy and a quality stand.P.S Just make sure you tighten the bolts and the cage won't fall off, LOL, some people........

Cant Figure-out,Why the more than few Buyers Say it`s hard to put together ??? 2 Long Bolts with 2 nuts fasten the bottom leg-section,that section is connected to curved-tube & these are held together by 1 smaller bolt & 1 nut,then place Hook-Screw through highest section where theres a pre-drilled hole,& tighten using the Rounded Nut !!! VOILA ....Easy as can Be eg. Even Enjoying it & taking Your Time putting it together, takes about 10 minutes or 600 SECONDS !!!! It`s Functional,Pretty,& Very STURDY !!! It`s a STEAL OF A BARGAIN !!!

I would give this a 3/5. The stand was easy to assemble, however the kit does not come with instructions. The stand is relatively sturdy once assembled. It does “bounce†a little when my cockatiel jumps off her perch. (Obviously not fit for heavy loads)One last important thing to mention. The hook that comes with the kit is not ideal/safe for hanging things. The tiny hook came with a decorative end nut which could come undone very easily. (I hope the manufacturer changes this part) I didn’t risk using it. Fortunately the hole where you install the hook can accommodate up to a 1/4inch bolt. I highly recommend you find another bolt hook or eye bolt with a proper nut to use! For the price it was worth it. I give it a 3/5 because the hook could pose a HUGE safety risk towards your pet. This issue could be easily fixed but is a massive oversight from the production team.

I needed a stand for our small bird cage and I decided to try this, and I am glad that I did! I initially thought that the stand was silver but I was sent a white stand, which is fine it still looks nice. Putting the stand together took me about 5-10 minutes and is pretty sturdy also and this stand is being used on carpet. After I hung the cage on the hook, the metal tube that supports the hook didn’t even flex a little, so the cage is safely hanging from the stand hook.I looked around some for stands and options for my bird cage and this seems to be the best and most cost effective, so I’m glad that I made this purchase.

No missing pieces, accurate specifications, clear (and obvious) installation instructions. As for the actual product, handles my 15-20 pound cage with no problem, could probably handle at least twice the weight without struggle. Sleek and unobtrusive, lightweight design, easy to move and fits in anywhere.I personally don't use it full time, as the cage hangs within reach of my cat. However, it does allow me to keep the bird close when I'm in other rooms. The only inconvenient feature is that the hook on the top can rotate, which was unexpected. I personally use a few links of chain and an s-hook to hang my cage, so I can move it straight from my ceiling hook to the stand.Very pleasantly surprised, would recommend to anyone looking for a cage stand for cages sized for parakeets, canaries, or lovebirds.

Overall I like the stand; however, I am very disappointed in the condition. It had rust/oxidation on all the tubes. Some washed off but much did not. There was a scrape through the paint on top where the hook attaches. Had I bought this secondhand for $5, I wouldn’t mind; I’d expect to have to paint it, but receiving what is supposed to be a new stand in this condition is just wrong. I put it together hoping I could get it cleaned up better once assembled - didn’t happen. I’m going to have to take it outside in the Spring and spray paint it. That’s disappointing. Based on the condition of the stand I can not recommend it. That’s sad because it was easy to assemble and pretty sturdy.

lo compre por que no tenia mucho espacio para colocar una jaula, quedo bastante bien puedo mover la jaula sin tener que hacer ajustes en las paredes o techo y me deja la senzacion de tener espacio
