Either this is thicker than described or I measured incorrectly. Either way, I made this work. The spline that comes with most window kits is too small for my application and this secured the screen in place.

This spline was the exact size I needed to repair our screened pool enclosure. The spline that was already there was too small and kept letting go. But, this one is perfect!

Different windows take different size splines. I actually used a digital caliper to get the exact measurement of the sliding screen door I was fixing. There are so many sizes, you want to make sure you get the right one. This was the right size and worked perfectly.

the packaging did not match the product image - it was a generic spline bag with no measurements on it, but instead a sticker claiming that its .195 inch - but its actually .1875 inches aka 3/16 inch
