This is a screen retainer spline designed to be use for securing various types of screen fabric into a window screen or screen door frame. 0.230 inch (15/64 inch) in diameter. It is a top quality round, serrated vinyl with a hollow core. Color is gray. 25 ft. per roll.

Took forever to locate a wide enough spline for my ancient windows. So happy I can finally have functional screens again, as summer rapidly passes. (My original spline was thick/ wide aluminum tubing.)

This spline was exactly the right size to replace the metal inserts in my screens. The gap in the screen measured 0.225". 7/32" spline was just a little to loose, but the 15/64" spline was perfect.

This is a perfect replacement for the metal spline on the screens of my Andersen windows. When removed, the metal spline bends out of shape. Now, I can replace torn screens inexpensively.

I purchased extra strong extruded aluminum screen framing material that required a special size spline. This couldn't be found at building supply stores and the company who sold the framing material only had this size in very long lengths, which I didn't need. This solved the problem and was rapidly delivered.
