These SP 9602 Handyman single loop closed extension springs are constructed of durable spring steel, and they come finished in a beautiful, corrosive-resistant, nickel-plated finish. Springs like these are used for a variety of household and professional applications, and they feature a generous deflection length of 1.71 inch. These springs are easy to install and are used by many. The outside diameters, lengths and gauge thicknesses vary between each of these springs, while their dependability does not. I replaced the stretched spring from Fiskars' Pruning Stik after years of use. Although the spring diameter is slightly larger than the OEM, the spring stretch tension works perfectly. Super quality!

Worked great to replace the 'constantly breaking' spring-steel spring on my truck. Where the OEM spring was carbon spring-steel, these are stainless, so I'm hoping no more salt-corrosion causing spring failures! Works GREAT so far!
