These Handyman single loop closed extension springs by Prime-Line Products are constructed of durable spring steel, and they come finished in a beautiful, corrosive-resistant, nickel-plated finish. I bought these to bridge between the house beams and the sun sail to prevent stress and damage to the wood. These have held up under some strong wind conditions. There is some slight stretch in the springs, but I expected that for what I've put them through. There is also no sign of rust on them even though they are completely exposed to the elements. Being outside for two years and looking the way they do, I am very impressed.

Overall, great product. It arrived within one day and installation on my lift-top coffee table was easy. My old spring, one of two, broke months ago and I never even thought I would find a good replacement tension spring. Thankfully I found this product and was able to install it within seconds. Great price point too. Recommend.
