These things are so tiny I lost a few for my vanity shelves when I took them out to clean them. These were so cheap and amazing metal quality. They arrived so fast I didn't have to wait long to get the bathroom back together. Amazing!

The pegs themselves are too small and fit loosely in the holes of my bookshelf, but this is mostly an issue with installation--once everything is in place the support is sturdy enough. Because of the added metal from the brackets (when used in the proper L-shaped position) my shelves, which previously fit snuggly, no longer fit properly into the bookshelf. On one side of the bookshelf the shelf will sit nicely on the brackets and then on the other side the shelf will sit on top of the piece of metal that forms the vertical section of the bracket. I can't be too hard on this product because you have to account for variation in the construction of each individual bookshelf, but if you purchase these please be aware that you might have to sand down the ends of your shelf to account for the added space from the brackets, and the pegs might not fit as snuggly in the holes of the bookshelf as you hoped. It's important to note that you can address the issue of the added metal from the bracket by flipping the brackets about their horizontal axis and using them in an upside down L shape, but because the pegs fit loosely into the holes this can make installation a bit more tricky and there's a bigger chance that they fall out. Maybe you could fix this by adding tape to the pegs to slightly widen them for a more snug fit, but I haven't tried this yet. For $2 I can't complain too much, but be aware of all these variables I've mentioned. In hindsight, I would buy shelf pegs that don't include a bracket to avoid all of these issues.

I received the shelf pins. They are not like what is pictured and are brass coloured. They don't have the angle and no hole to screw to shelf. Completely different.
