Your cart is empty.This combo deadlatch and deadbolt strike is constructed from steel and comes in a matte black finish. It features six 3 inch long screws that provide maximum security. This type of combo is quick and easy to install. Replaces standard latch and deadbolt strikes with one piece. May be used to repair split or damaged door jambs. Compatible with hole spacing from 3-5/8 inch to 4 inch center to center. For best results, follow the installation instructions included with each package. These strikes are easy to replace using only a few simple tools. For further dimensional information, please see the line drawing.

this product looks and feels strong and sturdy and was easy to install. I added it to two doors and they feel more secure and latch better than with the regular standard door strikes that come with the lock set. I will be getting more to install at friend's houses too.

Fits perfectly for a standard residential door frame. Allows you to align both the door knob latch and deadbolt if you live in a older house where they are a little off. Extra long screws included, definitely adds security to the door frame.

Guard provides great additional protection. Screws are long!! Be careful when driving the screws, so go slow when using a drill. If you have door molding, you may get a draft.

I just moved into a new apartment with a front door a 6 year old girl could kick in.Step 1 in securing the door was installing a 1 piece,heavy duty striker plate.This was the least expensive one I found on Amazon so it got the call to duty. While not super heavy duty it is a lot better than the thin,small,just about worthless ones it replaced.Unit comes with 2 different length screws.Do NOT use the short screws!ONLY use the 3" screws so the plate is secured into the inner frame around the door,not simply into the thin trim molding of the door frame itself.. Since it ONLY comes with 6 each of the 3 " screws,but needs 9, you'll need 3 extra screws.. With a total of 9,3" screws sunk deep into the frame it will take a battering ram to break in now.. Step 2 will be addition of a full metal frame around the dead bolts..Recommended..

The strike plate is awesome. Robust, fits a standard sized door perfectly. I did not need to recess the plate in between the latch holes, it fit perfectly. Install was… well, if they provided solid screws, it would have been a lot easier!The screws are made of soft metal and are cheap. Very cheap. I pre-drilled holes and I used a standard ratcheting manual screwdriver. No battery powered drill or anything. I still managed to strip the heads of three of the longer screws. I had some wood screws here, half an inch shorter, so I used those and had no issues.If you buy this, please make sure you buy solid screws. You’ll strip some heads or break them otherwise.
