The call size leads to a more shrill call as if it is a younger bull. Should be a larger diameter to get the more throaty mature Bull sound. Easy to use other than that. Not for Cow calls.

I bought this to help a friend on his hunt. I allready own the pack bugle, but it doesn't sound very good. Used this call for 6 days on an early AZ bull tag and sounded very good. We got close to many nice bulls. This call makes a higher pitch sound and isn't very growley. This call packs down small and light wich is exactly what I want. The blue reeds are very simple to use. I like this way better than cold wet gross pocket lint covered mouth reeds. Very well done Primos

Primos makes excellent calls. This one is super easy to use and sounds just like a bull elk. The one feature I like about this call is you can accordian the tube and collapse it down to a small size to fit easily in your pack.

I got this for my first elk hunt. It's really easy to use especially if you don't use mouth calls like me. Unfortunately the weather was so warm during my trip the elk weren't communicating very much.

This call being small doesn’t have the volume or ranges that I was hoping for. But a great call when you’re in the middle of them.

I like it, easy to use. I'm not real confident with mouth reeds yet so this is a great option to get you out, and bugling if you're new to elk calling.. or just have a hard time mastering reeds.Also, it's clunky to carry as a tube.. but the cover for the mouthpiece fits perfectly in the other end to make it a ring. That was bouncing off my knife and backpack so ive started sticking my arm through it. Wear it like a bracelet up around my bicep. Doesn't interfere with my draw at all, and i dont think it would get in the way of a rifle either.

takes a bit of practice to get it right. dont care for the rubber reeds that need replacing but practice practice.
