meh, its ok. it does make deer like sounds. i returned this and got the extinguisher deer call instead. much easier to use and comes with a dvd.

I'm not an accomplished hunter, and certainly not accomplished at calling deer, but it didn't seem to scare them off my location either. Adjust the o-ring for desired call, blow in the hole, try to make it sound believable. Try watching Primos videos on their website for tips. Only frustrating thing is sometimes it separates into 3 pieces when you want to just expose the reed.
