The product works for engaging crows one way or another! It's extremely easy to use, just put your mouth to it and blow. Kind of sounds like a kazoo at first, but experimenting with various short "bursts" or air or humming into it helps you refine the sound and get it more crow like. Fantastic value, especially if you live crows like I do. Doesn't sound exactly like a crow, but sounds enough like one to get any nearby curious and get em' cawing and making a racket. Leave some food out for them at the same time every day, make it a habit, daily routine. Don't wait for them to come down and find it.. don't sit and watch. They're very suspicious birds, cautious. They know when you're trying to bait them honestly... Just be a reliable non threatening source of berries or nuts, eggs and even cheese.. leave it in the same spot.. make a few calls with this little product... And you'll have some crow friends in the near future.. :)

Love this whistle. I live in an apartment building and call the crows to my balcony each morning where I feed them. The first time I used this whistle, about 15 crows started to surround me. Highly effective and now I have new friends. 10/10

My first thought was, "uh, a little high pitch" but after you play around with it you can get much more convincing sounds. I discovered if you make a slight hum while blowing it makes a much more convincing crow sound compared to just pushing air through it. The light vibrations of the hum effect the air-flow. That combined with the proper force and patterns you get a great sound. I have not found any crows in my area, unfortunately...had hoped this might draw some in but maybe it's not the right time of the year in my area? I do notice all the other birds head for the hills when they hear me so I think they are convinced! Anyway, great product, you'll like it but approach it like a musical instrument and you won't be let down.

This crow call works well, it's a bit thin so in cold weather I'd be extra careful not to beat it around at all as it will crack or splinter. The thing sounds like a crow to an extent, especially when you blow with the right air flow and quanity. Long blows for RAVENS, and short annoying xMANY for crows. Has turned many crows around flying over, brought crows close, and even moved entire murders hundreds of yards closer, curious as to what was happening in my yard. Something else I noticed is, if you have an angry false convert in your home that hates everything about you being her Son because you became a blood bought child of the living God, she'll absolutely hate this call as you practice with it for hours a day, all year long.

Ok this sound a bit odd, a bit like a party blower. That said it brings them in. I’m impressed!
