Like the calls. I used them on a recent Elk hunt to Arizona. They were a little bit bigger for my palette so I tended to use the Hyper 2 calls more but that's up to each persons preference. Tone quality was good and even as an novice caller we were able to call in bulls on our first Elk hunt. Nuff said. The big issue when your learning to use a diaphragm call like this or any other is pushing the air from your diaphragm (as the name imply s) not from your mouth. That's a world of difference. You'll see/hear it the first time you try it.

very easy to use if you have experience using mouth diaphragm calls. Right out of the package and into the 2021 September Washington State elk rut. Bulls responded to the calls very well. Definitely helped in harvesting our bull this year.

Work great! Some are easier to make good calls with, you pick out your favorites and use, will know more in a week or so! Going to Colorado this coming week for 14 day bowhunt for elk

these calls work well. i have tried many different styles and brands of diaphrams and these perform for me just as well as others, while costing considerably less. it took me a while to try them out because i had been left with a bad taste in my mouth (no, not literally!) with the primos sonic dome diaphram calls. the plate on these does not seem to make them any easier or harder to blow for me, but it does provide some protection for the reeds. i keep a couple of calls in my wallet (you never know when you will need to call an elk), and anything that will prolong the life of the call is great in my book. not to bring up the competition, but the best and most inexpensive diaphrams i have used are the carlton's. but if you can get these at the price here on amazon, you are getting a good deal on some pretty good calls.update 2/17/15: i noticed that price for these calls is now around $20. i wouldnt pay that much for them. they sound ok and work ok, but there are a lot of calls that will do as well for half as much.

Meh... I'm a fully diaphragm call functional individual and know how to use. Decent starter set to learn on. Gave to my boys to learn on.

I have a tone of elk calls. These are my first set of mouth calls. They are by far the easiest calls I have tried so far. I have been practicing everyday for 30 minutes. The more I practice the more realistic I think I sound. I purchased some elk hunting dvds to keep up with the cows and bulls on the show. The Idea is to match there pitch as close as possible. Having the confidence to do such should help out in the up coming season along with more practice and patience.

You have to practice to get these calls to work correctly, but that just takes a bit of patience with yourself. I've used this type of product before, so I got what I expected when I bought these. I really recommend them for the avid hunter. The beauty of these calls is their smallness. You can keep one in your mouth as you travel along on the trail and you give the impression you are an elk moving through the forest. Bulls love it. I've called them in to 10 to 20 yards using these calls.

nice selection of calls. have used many before for turkey so familiar with them. I could not get the black one to work for love nor money. way to tight and bending it slightly didn't help. The other calls were much better and were easy to use.

They work good, everyone is different so you just have to see what works for you but I prefer the primos style over other ones I've tried. You can fine tune the metal tab if you bend it either way, cant with plastic domes. With practice they all sound good but I like the white one mostly for cow calls and young bugles. Usually takes a few calls to break them in I find and stretch the latex a bit.

Product could be so much better. I might have gotten a bad batch but only one of the calls worked. The others had folded over latex/ large wrinkles in the top piece. They are (I believe) hand made and every brand can mistakenly send out something that snuck past QC.I tried contacting primos through their website and recieved no response. Definitely going to go with a different brand for ALL my calls. I know they are relatively inexpensive but the lack of communication back will leave me with a negative feeling of the company and their after sales care.On the positive side, the one that did function sounds great.

Tough to use, will definitely take some practice. Case is too small and doesn’t really hold them all in.
