Just like everyone else, you are eventually going to lose your striker if you are a run and gun turkey hunter like myself. This striker was better than the one that came with my call. The handle is very comfortable and easy to use when you are out hunting all day. I actually bought four of these because they are a great bang for your buck. I keep an extra on me always and some back at home incase I ever need them.

This is the Cheapest piece of junk I have ever seen in my life. It looks like a molded piece of plastic and it is incredibly rough the length of the striker and all around the tip. It is virtually unusable !!!! Don't waste your time and money. I sent it back for refund. Absolutely Amazed Primos would put their name on this. I wouldn't want or keep this item if it was free. If I wasn't returning the Triple 7 striker I would break it in half to see if it was indeed plastic. It has no characteristics of laminated hardwood and weighs about as much as a sliver of pine.

There seem to be two different version of this striker, a laminate and an exotic hardwood version. Previously, I got the laminate version and it played better with higher pitch yelps and a clearer rollover on my Jackpot slate. I ordered one off of here as a backup and it was the exotic hardwood (looks like Ipe) version instead. Played well on my glass call, but definitely a different tone on the slate. Wish Primos would keep the wood consistent on these but each striker was high quality in its own way.
