This is my firat professional music folder and I absolutely love it! I finally grew tired of cheap Walmart binders and manilla envelops to store music. Desiring a classy, professional appearance for rehersals and concerts, I am completely satisfied with the quality of this folder. Nice looking folder, holds quite a bit of music plus a pencil. It would be great for holding music if it were going on a music stand; however, I needed it for choir. It is too floppy to hold in one hand (choose a folder with a strap that only lets it open around 150 degrees not > 180). It also could use a way to hold music in the folder while you are holding it (like strings down the crease). Again, this would not be an issue on a stand, only hand holding choral music.

I love the large size for sheet music, places for my pencil, the light weight, and study durability of my new Protec music folder! Four of us flautists in the orchestra own and like them.

A fantastic purchase all around. I have a TON of music, it holds EVERYTHING. Even music books fit in here, I really like the large size. It also holds originals, which I commonly get in orchestra music. Not only this, but this is very durable so far in my experience, no tears, rips, anything. The only sign of wear is some wearing off of the brass coloring on the metal corners, not a big deal to me. Everything else has stood up to my abuse well. Get one! Its worth the price.

This music folder looks and feels good. It's a good size and holds a lot of music. I love it. The only thing it's missing is a rubber-band type holder in the spine to retain the music while you're singing, as the music can fall during performance. Otherwise, highly recommended.

I like the solid protective cover. I dislike the design of the music pockets. With slightly oversize music you have to put your hand in the pocket to get the music in. My original folder which is 20+ years old didn't have the problem. It had pockets more like the ones in the cardboard music folders - Not an accordion like pocket which causes the problem with music insertion.
