The Proaim MB-600 is a Lightweight Camera Matte box for run-n-gun shooting, and is always up to the task. It’s a 15mm Rod-mount Matte box for Lenses with of up-to 95mm outer diameter. The High-impact Sunshade made of durable polymer protects your lens from unwanted dust, dings, or unexpected falls.
PROFESSIONAL & AFFORDABLE
CONTROL THE LIGHT
The Proaim MB-600 clamps safely and securely to the front of the lens, creating a light-tight seal. The Fabric Donut or Fabric Knicker prevents unwanted light from hitting the lens and producing unwanted flares. The Aluminum top flag and side barn doors give extended control over light. The top flag folds down flat to cover the front of the Matte box/hood & protect your lens from any debris, dirt or dust on set.
FILTER HOLDERS
The MB-600 has two 4x4 rotating filter holder(s) perfect for square and polarized filters. Both rotate a full 360°. Smartly designed filter holder(s) allows you to install or remove filters without disturbing the whole setup.
WIDE COMPATIBILITY
The MB-600 Matte box accommodates camera lenses up to 95mm in diameter. 4:3 and 16:9 Interchangeable Aspect Ratio Masks allow this matte box to be used with both standard and wide-angle lenses. The Mask can easily be attached or detached with four small screws in the front of the matte box.

It does the job. Wish I would have spent a little more and got something different. Wish it swiveled away. It’s become evident I really need that. The black lens donut falls off a decent amount. It comes lose at the rail mount and I have to keep tightening.Also finding out I really do need 4x5 filters. Thought I could get away with just 4x4 that this one only takes.It of course does it’s job and still looks cool.

I could make a laundry list of shortcomings here, but for the price it's amazing. My only complaint would be the completely awful knickers (cinchable donut) they provide. It's really a lot more effort than it should be to make it function properly. It bunches up and is difficult to seat. It will work in the end though, it's just sort of a pain with some lenses. I guess I'll probably eventually shell out $20 for a different one. It is NOT the knickers they have pictured with the mattebox as that one looks far more user friendly. The one I got is a stiffer material with drawstrings. Not great guys! Don't ship it with that one.The flags seems sturdy though and it looks nice. It is plastic, so if you're prone to impact filmmaking not sure how it will hold up.

Buona costruzione, alette in metallo, matte box solida quando si attacca al binario. E' quasi regalata, visto il prezzo, ma fa alla grande il suo dovere, molto migliore delle alternative cinesi più comprate

Pour cette matte box d'origine indienne (à l'origine de l'origine de la marque Proaim) et surtout prix juste pour un accessoire qui coûte beaucoup trop cher d'habitude. Je me sers selon le besoin d'une petite matte box autoportée Smallrig qui fait le travail mais dans certaines conditions une matte box taille adulte est nécessaire. C'est un outil indispensable et Proaim le rend très accessible.
