My Son really likes these headphones. He is on the autism spectrum and also has SPD( sensory processing disorder) These earphones do not hurt or cause sores on his ears like he had gotten before. I am so happy also with these. They keep a lot of sounds out but he can still hear us talking to him.I am going to purchase another one in case these get lost or broken.

While doing the rider lawnmower, I was using an FM-broadcast receiver headphones. I think they affected my hearing, because they weren't designed for hearing protection. Probably just designed for private listening. So I'd wear them on the rider mower, and then turn up the volume on the FM radio so I could hear something over all the mower-noise. Weekly dose of bad noise blocking with the addition of very loud music trying to overcome the lawnmower was not appreciated by my audiologist.I confess I didn't get these true hearing protection earmuffs until after the mowing season. But when I first put them on, I thought I'd finally gone deaf, until I took them off again. Obviously, 37 dB attenuation is a lot more than the {estimated} 6 dB attenuation from the FM headphones. lolI can't wait for next springtime to give the new earmuffs a proper workout. I already tried them on and they're very comfortable for my standard-sized male head, fitting completely comfortably softly over my sensitive outer ears. The earmuffs even have room for me to stick some bluetooth earbuds inside, which were only a twinkle in some inventor's eye a few decades ago. Way cheaper than good earmuffs with integrated Bluetooth receiver. I've already seen that a little music helps the lawnmowing get done a lot faster, and I don't think I'll have to give that up. I'll update to confirm the muffs plus earbuds works ok.But, shame on the vendor for calling these "Noise Cancelling," which is an electronical technology. These are just good noise blockers, but there's nothing noise-cancelling going on with these earmuffs.

these are a must for big head - big ear people who have struck out with other noise blockers. they are VERY comfortable to sleep with. no clamping pain on or around the ears. the only problem is the headband starts to dig into my skull if i'm upright with them for too long. they are fine for short term activities like operating heavy tools or the shooting range. not so much for activities that last several hours. these are a 5 star product if they could have snuck in a few millimeters of padding on the headband. i tried attaching padding from another set of headphones under it but it was too thick and while the headband didn't hurt, the ears started hurting. so i know there is a delicate balance. the padding i tried to add is about 16mm of foam uncompressed. i will try with smaller headband or wrapping cloth around it.

Was hesitant because I purchased a different brand larger ear-cup size some time ago. Was not happy with them.I have a case of Sudden Profound Hearing Loss that hit me in my late 50s. One ear is totally gone; the other is manageable with my talented audiologist. I do NOTHING without these on. Whethether you have hearing loss or are trying to protect what you have, I highly recommend these both for comfort and protection.

I just got these today, so I can't say anything about longevity, but I love these already. They feel solid compared to many other earmuffs I've tried. I'm a rather large-built 6'3" guy. I am constantly wearing Bluetooth earbuds of various shapes and sizes. My ears barely fit in basically all noise protection earmuffs. With the earbuds, the minor pressure from the too-small ear covers literally hurt my ears in various parts depending on the earbuds I was using. I looked for reasonably priced extra large earmuffs with a decent sound rating and found these. My ears fit easily in them and I feel no discomfort from any of my earbuds while wearing it. I also compared the sound reduction to my previous set rated at 36-SNR. These might even be slightly better around reduction than the other, although that might be due to an improved air seal since it fits my head better. If typical earmuffs are too snug on your ears, try these.

Size was great, our grandson is a big guy and has autism, but quality poor. One ear cover was loose and fell off when I opened it, the only way to get it to clip back on was to remove some of the interior padding. I wanted to return but he needed them so bad I left it as it was. Just going to order a cheaper pair
