I haven't used this much but it seems to do the job. I believe the thimble is in metric. The spindle lock seems pretty lame but works.

Nice too have both a digital read out and etched measurements. Like that the lock is a switch instead of a dial.

Very disappointed. The dial binds and doesn’t rotate smoothly. I can work past it as it is for reference only but it is definitely not for precision use. Thinking of just returning it for a different brand. So sad!!! Where is the QA department on this one?

Needs to have smoother movement, gets sticky in certain spots. I wonder if I ca Lube it, or will it smooth out with use.
