These scribing tools work very well and the self oiling characteristic makes them easy to use. The pliers included make breaking along the scribe line effortless and precise, the rubber tips on the end are a nice touch both for good leverage and not marking the panel!I very much like that this kit included all the tools I would need for a project all in one convenient set, even included cutting fluid and a pipette to fill the tool reservoir.The included instructional video was very helpful to a first time user like myself and I am extremely impressed with the fast response time from Leah for getting that to me!All in all I can tell the entire team behind this is professional and passionate about what they do, I'd highly recommend their products to anyone looking for tools for all types of glass projects!

After months of researching and preparing to start my stained glass journey, I stubbled across Tillery Innovations and immediately could tell their products were tailor made for artists. Seeing that they're a 3rd generation, small, American business just confirmed that these were the tools for me instead of a big corporation who doesn't put the customers first! I have no doubt these will be lifelong cutters for me and I look forward to any customer service interaction knowing I will have a knowledgeable business to contact. As far as the tools go, they are textured wonderfully and fit with ease in your hand. They seem to be designed with comfort in mind, while still exceeding functional standards. They are durable and light. I would recommend this brand to anyone, beginner or expert!

What a terrific set! Far better than my class offered for my use. Very comfortable handles and I particularly like the pistol cutter as it is closer to the glass and easier to control. Comes with a video link that is informative, particularly for beginners (like me). Highly recommend!

I received the tool set. All looks good but the extra set od rubber tips for the running plyers was not in the kit.

My tool set arrived today, I am very excited to be able to use these quality tools! I attend a stained-glass class, and I can tell these tools are much better quality than the ones we have available to us, and that's understandable since so many people use those. I'm thrilled to have my own set! They look to be excellent precision, and the set I bought is just right for my needs right now. I'm a beginning glass artist. I am very happy with this set of tools. They are great quality. I thought at first that I would prefer a pencil grip cutter, so I bought one of those as well. However, I find I much prefer the pistol grip that comes with this set, as my hands are not strong and this type of cutter makes it easier for me to apply consistent pressure. I only wish I had not put any oil in the handle, as I've learned from the experts that this is not really necessary, and it leaves oil on the glass that is a bit of a pain to clean off. (The experts seem to apply a small amount of oil for longer cuts by dipping the cutting edge in a bit of oil). If, like me, you are new to cutting glass, I recommend that you find the Peter McGrain online video.

The blade pistol was filled with oil before shipping and it leaked everywhere. The plastic bag that the pistol was in was also opened. Kind of wondering if I got a used product based on the packaging? The box that all the tools came in was an unmarked, beat up box. Hope the quality is better than the shipping

Nice weight, easy grip. I drew a line on running pliers to help mark the center, but otherwise they work well for this beginner.
