Hook and loop straps with elastic allow for custom fit and keep the boots in place. To activate, place boots in freezer until frozen. Wet leg and boot before application to maximize cold therapy. I hauled my mare an hour away with these hock boots on and they were still cold when I got there! They stay on nice too!

Stays cold, however, the packs are not ergonomicslly placed so if I put them on tight enough to stay place I was getting a pain response from my horse. As the packs thaw, the wrap loosens and falls off. The upper strap on one boot came un-sritched within the first week of use.

These stay cold much longer than the competitors and are easier to secure where you want them. Highly would recommend. I’m replacing my full leg ice boots with more Prof Choice.

No matter how tight or what horse I put them on in the stall 30 minutes later they have slid down way past the hock. Bummed because they stay frozen way longer than my magic gel boots
