I'm a big big time profoto fan and have tons of their stuff but this one is a miss. This type of light is made for event and wedding type shooting. This involves moving fast ducking between people to get through crowds etc. The modifier makes good light, but it is really really really poorly designed. It attaches to the light through a magnet system that seems like a really cool idea BUT the modifier is too big and the magnet is too weak and almost any slight contact with anything knocks the modifier off the light. If you shot weddings or events you will spend more time picking it up off the floor than shooting with it until you eventually loses it. I have bought it twice and that was exactly my experience. Needs to be made to lock on or something.

Great light quality and it is great for tripod setups or low-action. I would use the bounce card included with the A1 for any shoot that you will be moving a lot for. The problem is the magnetic ring that connects to the A1 is not strong enough to keep the relatively heavy modifier secure.

it's visible it was used or exposed for long time because it's not white anymore but I keep it because I need it so far.

I shoot indoors in low low light such as bars, event halls, etc, etc and when I got the A1 I also got the soft bounce at the same time. It made sense and the results were outstanding. but it was awkward, too heavy for the head and moving around with it as I do was embarrassing as I would always lose my "head". The magnet is cool but not strong enough (would love a safety latch) and after about a year of use the magnet broke off. Not its worthless and it ruined my dome as well with it always falling off and popping that off. So when it broke i quickly used my dome with the included flashcard. With a small modification, it returned the same results. it needs a little rethinming since it's far to heavy, weak and creates more issues then solutions.

I bought it and truth be told I have tried it once and never touched it since. The light out of the A1 with the diffuser dome is nice enough without this monstrosity sitting on your flash.

Der Profoto A1 Soft Bounce gibt es jetzt schon für 113 EUR bei Amazon, da sollte man nicht nein sagen. Die Lichtführung ist schon Teil, ich würde es immer wieder kaufen.

Das Ding ist nicht schlecht und auch recht stabil. Allerdings hält der Magnet nicht so gut am Blitz und fällt relativ leicht herunter. Es ist damit insgesamt ziemlich schwer und nicht extrem gut handhabbar.Aber es gibt nicht soviel Auswahl! Ich würde trotzdem das nächste Mal wieder die Karte kaufen, statt diesem hier.
