First unit arrived damaged as Amazon sent it in a bubble envelope and the top globe got shoved in. Second one arrived okay, but discovered that a separate power supply is required to keep the projector or backlight on at all times. While trying to assess whether or not to keep it, I found that turning the alarm on or off was not intuitive, and even when I switched the voice feature to OFF, it kept yammering. I returned it again.To its credit, the time display on the cube and on the ceiling was clear. If they had included the power supply, even at greater cost, I probably would have kept it.

The clock did not work with batteries or electric (cable not included) and was returned. It felt cheap in the hand.

Projector works well. Display panel is okay too. Voice is nearly worthless. Confused by unnecessary alarm beeps and the voice is nearly unintelligible. But worth it for battery powered (on demand) projection, or full time projection if you use the included USB power option instead of batteries. I can't find if it's okay to leave the AAA batteries in place should you plug into USB. That would allow time keeping to continue when you move it about. But AAAs don't like attempted charging, so it may not be safe.
