I puchased this item over 30 days ago. It worked fine for the first few days. Then it started turning off around 3 am each morning and coming back on within 5-10 minutes. Now it will not reflect the outdoor temperture until I open and close the battery compartment. The cover on the battery compartment is loose and will not stay shut. I was wondering if I could get a new remote . Other than that I love the clock

I bought this to replace a La Crosse unit with atomic clock, external remote sensor, and projection that stopped communicating with the atomic clock signal.The Amazon filter shows this as syncing with an atomic clock signal, though it never worked for me. Note that the description in the Amazon listing says: "automatic calibration time according to local radio control". The unit does come with an external remote sensor, but it loses signal often. Also, the projection lasts for a few seconds and then turns off. Maybe there is a setting to keep it on all of the time, but the instructions were terrible and I never did find how to keep the projection on all of the time.
