at 5 inches wide these tubes are great for rolled posters or other artwork because the width of the tube means that the items are not rolled tight. Since they are looser when you decide to frame it is easier to work with. Further, since the tube is 5 inches wide multiple posters can be easily stored in one tube.

Needed to ship an expensive 9lb, 20" long item with padding inside of something that would survive UPS abuse coast-to-coast. Found this tube with impressively thick .125" tube walls. Used Liquid Nails to glue the end caps on (with additional strapping tape just in case the gorillas handling the packages got frisky and broke the glue seal). Very pleased with how it arrived on the other end of shipping. Very likely could be reused for a return trip :)

Good size. It gook awhile for delivery, which delayed use. Quality product.
