This tube was perfect for shipping a fragile, oddly shaped item I hadn’t found adequate packaging for prior to ordering this. It was much sturdier than I anticipated and the end caps were a nice touch for added security. Size matched description dimensions perfectly.

I bought this not for mailing, but for storage of prints , posters and documents. It’s a tube, not unlike many other tubes that are similar. The main selling point of this particular tube was the cylindrical shape and frankly, length. A shorter tube would not have got the job done in any satisfactory ways. I really enjoy the functionality of this particular white tube and look forward to generations of implementation of its characteristic shape. The white palate also imagines a minimalistic and simple design. A blank canvas on which to designate what mysterious object or objects might be encased inside.

This is a great shipping tube. I used it for an antique sword and it was a perfect fit. The construction definitely gives you confidence that it will arrive with no damage. Not cheap, I know, but worth it for many items.

What can you say about a mailing tube? It was exactly as described. Comes with white plastic caps that fit inside the tube. I held on the caps with shipping tape (also Scotch), but you could probably staple them on if you had a heavy duty stapler. The tube has thick walls and is very sturdy. It was shipped in a long cardboard box, which I'm using for storage (so it didn't go to waste). The mailing tube was new and wrapped in clear plastic. A red Scotch brand label (about 3 x 4 inches) is permanently attached to one end of the tube. I didn't need a 48" tube, so I trimmed off several inches with a hacksaw. It would be hard to cut with an ordinary knife, but you could maybe use a serrated knife or a new razor blade. The 4 inch diameter allowed me to ship 4 heavyweight laminated posters (42" x 60"). These large diameter tubes are impossible to find locally.

A bit pricey but does what its supposed to. Sturdy. Wish it wasnt white that part doesnt make sense for shipping

I love that I could mail a very important poster size item! I tried to get it mailed through UPS and they didn’t have this size mailing tube. So they proceeded to put together a different option through their boxes. After measuring and adding up the cost it was going to cost me $62+ to send it. Found this mailing tube to be a much better option.

The Good: I move a lot, and I love posters, so this is a perfect solution for crinkle problems. It's a big tube, so you can pack a lot in there.The Bad: It is a little long for most posters, but they clearly state the dimensions on the listing, so it wasn't a surprise. I will say that I bought this as an add-on item, and the price has since gone through the roof to both buy and ship it.
