Built a large home in 2017 and installed a $3500 cyclonic central vac. The motor was rated for our size home but was as loud as a jet engine and didn't work well. You needed ear plugs from down the street if the garage door was open. It was stupid. After a year of back and forth with the online seller, we only used it once in a while. After 5 years, the thing gave out.Bought this unit and installed it quickly. Hung it with 3 quick screws and piping was almost a perfect match.This unit works great! So much more suction than the over priced cyclonic unit.We use 50' in-wall hoses and they pull in easily. Even our air powered carpet beaters zip to life. I can stand next to it and it's not hurting my ears. Now the neighbors can't document how often we clean.Thanks to ProLux, we have a great central vac system again!

I was skeptical buying this online as I have never heard of this brand. I am replacing a 20 year old Eureka Boss. The piping matched up perfect to my old pipes.(16" center to center) I did not use the Hepa filter or muffler as I exhaust out the ceiling over to the roof overhang. Even before removing the Hepa filter this had great suction, now even more, my wife and I cannot believe how much more power this unit has and is so quiet to boot. The only thing I really had to do was install the new mounting bracket on the wall. Hint: attached unit to pipes and just trace the mounting bracket where it sat on the wall. All in all less than 30 minutes to install. Very happy! Only negative: They could have at least given one bag to try. I know you don't need them, just would have been nice to try and see what effect it has on suction.

Very low suction at all ports. Longest pipe run is 25 feet and suction is bad. Low suction at garage port on vacuum. Dirt stays in hose and vacuum head and falls back out when picking up power head after vacuuming. I have to sweep it up or use my other vacuum to clean what I just vacuumed. Stair attachment does not spin due to not enough suction. Emailed seller a few weeks ago and received no response. Setup return for the item which came in 2 boxes with 2 labels and 2 tracking numbers. Return only provided 1 label with less weight than the 2 items originally shipped. Not happy with overall purchase, performance or customer service.

Love this. Has great power. My husband installed easily. Everything fit and works with our previous outlets & hook ups. Very happy I decided to go this route instead of purchasing a replacement/ install from local business at twice the cost of this product.

I replaced my 25 year old Beam central vacuum with the Prolux CV12000.It took me less than 30 minutes to get it out of the box and installed (and I am a little old lady!). The instructions were clear and easy to follow.The suction is great and the unit is much quieter than my old Beam.So far, I love this new vacuum!

That’s a be a lot nicer if they offered bags to use along with the filter,, the problem is after using it, the HEPA filter begins to stink, really stink if you have pets, and then filters back into your air which is really unpleasant.

Do not buy this item! I bought 2 of them and they have less suction then an average shopvac from a hardware store! Then when I tried to return them, the cheapest shipping cost was $250 each to send them back to the seller. So I decided to go through Amazon to get the issue resolved and it has been 4 months I can not get these items back to them and get my money back!! I filed a claim for 4 times and every time is the same answer, the seller will get back to you but the seller never does! So far The worst experience with Amazon and the seller through Amazon!!
