These are great sticks and work with my drum set well. I’m still getting used to hickory vs maple but no the end, they sound great and should last a while (depending on how hard I hit those cymbals!)

I am considered more of a hard hitter and dominantly play rock, and so after my last sticks (Vic firth) snapped I started looking for stronger ones. These ones caught my eye, and I am loving them. Perfect size, doesn’t kill my hands, very sturdy and strong, good price, good grip though at first it was a little uncomfortable, very free and loose, and not too thick. I would definitely recommend these.

I am a church drummer and have tried many sticks over the past few years. I have went from the ahead's with the replaceable tips to different wood types. These sticks last me quite a while and is a nice looking stick as well. I am a heavy hitter and don't always hit the cymbals correctly at time but these sticks hold up. The weight is perfect for me, but if I could design a stick it would be this one but maybe a inch or so longer. Overall great stick.

These sticks can take a beating but after a few weeks of pounding hard, they did break.

I have been a hard rock/metal drummer for a good number of years now and I used to always be a fan of Vic Firth, however, I used to chew through sticks in no time. Finally I found these and I haven't ever looked back. These sticks have some serious strength and definitely outlast any Vic Firth sticks I have had. They feel amazing, the weight and balance are perfect and you just can't go wrong with these. These are now my goto sticks and I will remain a loyal customer for the foreseeable future. My teenaged son plays drums a minimum of one hour a day, but usually two full hours (7 days a week) and has done so for the last 6 years. After reading multiple reviews, I settled on these as an added item to his Christmas stocking this year. Being a drummer, he is frequently gifted drum sticks and we have multiple brands, sizes, and ones with and without the rubberized grip. Since receiving these sticks, I have not seen him touch another pair of sticks in his collection. He plays on both an electric kit and an acoustic and he says these sticks are the best pair he has ever owned. The wood grain is beautiful and we both love that they are made in the U.S. of high quality wood.

As a heavy hitter naturally, the lighter sticks end up flying out of my hands whilst playing. With these though? They give me more control and weigh the hands down so to speak. All in all, a very exemplary pair of sticks.
