It’s alittle big, (about 1 inch wide) but it’s durable. Been playing just for fun for afew hours day for about 4 weeks and I’m still not getting any wood showing. I strongly suggest this product

The durability of this tape is not insanely higher, but is indeed higher that normal tape, most likely due to its different material (akin to paper ish). 1 Thing, you better have patience or strong nails because this tape does not want to leave your sticks once your try to remove it. Also I do wish there were more color opportunities that weren't grips. Also for the higher that normal price, you are getting more tape in general, but for also a higher quality product.

My daughter likes it and she even shared it with her drum line friends. The adhesion is good but don’t know how long it would last. Overall we are satisfied the purchase.

I've no doubt that this stick tape is better than hardware-store electrical tape for wrapping drumsticks. Though I've never been in a high-level drumline, I've seen several who used this tape on their sticks. Besides the visual element, the added weight to the sticks can be beneficial to the drummer whose drum has very high head tension. My usage was to build up the diameter of an older wooden-shaft Regal Tip brush design so that rubber grip sleeves could fit snugly on. So far, my perhaps unorthodox usage has worked well. I like this product, and could see using it to adjust weight & balance od sticks where needed.

Very good tape!!!! I rap my sticks with two layers of tape and lasted longer than electrical tape. A huge dislike of this product is that after A while some sticky residue on the outside of the stick shows up and it makes the stick look kind of tacky up close but they are going to get beat up anyway so it really doesn't matter. The width of the tape is thicker than electrical tape so it takes some getting used to raping the sticks Overall very good protected my sticks very well.
