I really love these boots. I have post thrombotic syndrome (blood pools in leg and feet causing swelling) and lymphedema (more swelling in legs and feet). So I need a size 13 with a width of 6e. I tried over 15 different boots and these were the only ones that fit my feet comfortably and allowed me to insert my feet without pain. Have been using these for almost a year and they still fit and feel great. I have had no issues with durability and wear them almost exclusively everywhere I go (gym, hiking, camping, walking, etc.) I have put over 100 miles of hiking on this pair with zero problems. They are so comfortable to wear and protect my feet from injury. I haven't even experienced any blistering when new like other boots I have owned. I now own 3 pairs in different colors. Refuse to buy anything else. The boot version was also more comfortable that the shoe version. On the shoe version, the heel end of the foot opening was very rigid and painfully poked the back of my foot with every step.

I've been hiking for years, usually going for the expensive brands like Salomons but the last pair of those I purchased had definitely declined in quality. Decided I was going to go with a cheaper brand and came across these while browsing Amazon's selection. About 300 miles into my weekly hikes they were still extremely comfortable and no noticeable wear so started wearing them for both work(package delivery service) and hiking and they're still in great shape months later. Sometimes cheaper really is better.

Full disclosure, I have yet to break these boots in completely.They fit very true to size, and are extremely wide for those of us that have a very wide foot. That's a hard thing to find in a shoe these days, especially when you have a 14 and 1/2 sized foot.My one complaint is that they are quite stiff even after several dozen outings. And they are rather large, and the best way that I can think to describe them as clunky. They're not exactly overly heavy, but they're just bulky.With those negatives out of the way, they are wonderfully waterproof, they are roomy and comfortable for a person with a very large and wide foot, their stylish looking, and they manage to hold up well under rough wear and tear of a large person.I would recommend these to anyone else who has an extremely wide and long foot, and is looking for a nice waterproof boot to get through a winter.I'm hoping that they will loosen up a bit once they are fully broken in, but there's stiff nature is not enough to keep me away.I only wish that I had had this brand available in the past, because they are a quality Boot at a wonderful price.

love these boots. feel like sneakers but with great support. i walk six miles daily. haven't had these very long but i have had propet boots in the past that lasted for years. definitely waterproof and great gripping soles. UPDATE: TOO NARROW IN TOE BOX AREA. After two days i developed blisters on my toes as they aren't a true x wide boot. i had hopes for these and thought the toe area would break in but no way. hated to give up but my feet had enough of the tightness after 2 days.

I was reluctant on buying boots without trying them on.Reading the other reviews really helped me choose to buy.I wear 13 extra wide. Most shoes and boots are a compromise between comfort and style. These boots are fantastic. I do a LOT of walking at work. My feet have never felt better after work. When I have worn my other boots I couldn't wait to get them off. These boots receive my highest review. I have not had any issues with the eyelets or the laces as others have noted. If you have big, wide feet, fallen arches, and tired achy feet, buy these..... you'll be happy.6 month update - they are wearing out. The inside heel is now worn through and both heels outer soles came unglued from the boot. They were re-glued, but went from 5 to 4 stars.4 to 3 stars. Sole came off of the right boot.

Wherever this shoe is made, there sizing is not the same as U.S. sizing or there is a issue with quality control. These boots are supposed to be X-Wide, but they feel like Wide or even Normal size, width wise. I even tried wearing them for several weeks, hoping they would break in or loosen up some. They didn't. Had to make a decision to either keep trying to see if they would loosen up or return them before I ran out of time to do so. Decided to stop wasting my time and returned them. Other than the width, this boot reflects quality workmanship. I was really hoping this boot would have worked out better for me.

This is my second pair of boots from Propet. I have Propet casual shoes, dress shoes, sandals, and hiking boots and all fit well and all look good, not like the usual orthopedic offerings. I'm a serious recreational hiker and use the boots a lot. My first pair held up well (about a year and a half of regular use). I don't know how Propet does it, style and performance - and you can't beat the price. I got this pair on sale for less than $90 - similar boots from Merrill and Oboes (my previous go-to brands) go for almost twice as much. I don't know how they do it, but I hope they keep doing it.

I have freakishly wide feet. I purposely buy a bigger size to get a wider fit and it usually still isn't wide enough. These were more than wide enough for my feet. So much so that I could even wear thick socks, something I wasn't able to do before. Although these aren't described for winter, they actually keep my feet fairly warm. The tread is also fairly aggressive and good in snow however I wouldn't use these on ice or in deep snow since they're only ankle high. Just for getting in and out of the car, walking around, these are great. If these turn out to be good in summer, these will be four season footwear for me.

Las botas son muy cómodas y me quedan perfectamente. Aunque tenia mis dudas con respecto a la marca; la verdad es que estoy muy contento con la compra; las botas tienen muy buena calidad y no se sienten pesadas, ademas que son muy comodas andando con ellas. Espero que de nuevo haya una oferta de ellas para poder comprar esta marca nuevamente.
