This propane deep fryer is a neat little addition to my outdoor cooking setup! It cooks fish and chips really well, making my backyard BBQs much more enjoyable. Assembling and setting it up was pretty easy, so I didn’t have to spend hours trying to get it ready for cooking. I love being able to fry fish without stinking up the house. It keeps everything fresh inside and smells great outside instead. The high grade strainer basket works perfectly for getting those crispy results.However, I do have a couple of wishes for improvement. It would be awesome if it came with a cover to keep the oil clean when it’s not in use. Also, the oil pan could be a bit deeper to prevent any spills while frying which is a bit of a safety concern for me. Despite these issues it’s still a solid fryer that gets the job done efficiently.

I love fried foods, but things like bacon, hash browns, french fries and other fried things can really stink up the house for hours and hours, if not days. Stir fry cooking also makes things smokey in my house. This is a great partial solution. There's no perfect solution, but this comes close. With an outdoor burner and fryer set, I can cook all the smelly foods outdoors and keep my house smelling decent. The burner is the essential piece of this kit and it produces a good amount of power to heat up frying oil and to get a wok hot enough for some stir fry flavor. The construction of the base legs is good with no sloppy paint or sharper edges. The leg extensions attach easily with the included nuts and bolts. If you are using a wok or pan to cook with and not the included frying pot, you will wan to get this on a table so it's at a better level to cook with. If you're frying it's best to keep it low for safety reasons. The included propane hose is good quality and I didn't see any crimping issues at the hose ends. The burner outlet is attached to the base with a wind nut, but you may want to use a pair of pliers to get it a bit more snug rather than just finger tightened. That part should definitely not move around or get loose on you. The pot is are pretty basic standard aluminum but it's smooth with no rough spots. The fryer baskets are nice since there are two and you can fry different things at one time and take them out separately depending on cook times. It may have been nicer with wire baskets for oil drainage, but that may have increased the cost, plus cleaning wire mesh is a real chore for me. Overall, this is a nice frying kit and I look forward to use it more since it opens up so many possibilities in cooking methods for me. It's simple, functional and easy to maintain and that's what gets things used more often.

But I never got one as I considered it a want and not a need...so priorities LOL. So imagine how happy I was when this popped into my offers?!!!! I snapped it up as fast as I could click! LOL.And this is a super nice setup too! Very complete package with everything you could need to use it except the propane tank and the food! I'm so excited to use this and have it just in time before Thanksgiving! I'll do a test run and fry a large whole chicken or I may do a duck. Maybe both! LOL!So the box is heavy. But I'm a short handicapped woman with a very bad back. The whole thing weighs in at shy of 19 Lbs! So that tells you it's good quality overall and not some flimsy built thing.The pots and baskets can be used indoors on your stove too for other things. It just popped into my brain this will be great too for canning season to use outside and keep that heat out of the house! I have several big stainless steel stock pots, I'll have to see if the biggest fits on this. I really like that this has the safety rail around the burner stand to keep the pot from shifting, but it may limit the pot size that can be used.Awesome this also comes with the injector, thermometer, fruer rack & lifter too! As well as the stand, gas tube/regulator. I got the set that includes the 10 & 30 quart pots/baskets.I would also point out that safety in the use of something like this should be a huge consideration. And to that end I would point out the design of the base with the extra stabilizers this unit has, along with the safety rail to prevent the pot fromt slipping off it. Great design features in my opinion!Everything is very well packaged, wrapped/padded.... to ensure it's delivered in perfect condition! I just don't think I could be happier with this item!On a side note, you may want to check into getting a grease filtering can. They're usually listed on here to strain bacon grease. But it allows you to strain the oil/grease after it's cooled slightly and then you can store it in the fridge to reuse it. My container with the built in strainer is only like 2 quart size though, after I strain bacon grease I put it into a canning jar then into the fridge. But for this larger amount of oil I would suggest a stainless steel splatter screen put over another big pot, strain the cooled oil, then put it back into the bottles or whatever container and into the fridge or even freezer to reuse later. Cooking oil gets excensive in these larger amounts and to just throw it out withopput reuse is a huge waste! Now that will also depend somewhat on what you use it to cook as certain foods like fish may taint the oil in flavor or depending on the spices, breadfing..., just mark that for future use as fish oil.Regular price $89.99 per the listing is a great value at this pricepoint for this package! This review is for: RYHOFOUD Propane Fryer Pot Set for Outdoor (Silver, 10QT & 30QT combo)We use this to boil water on our scout campouts. We use hot water a lot. We obviously use it for dishes multiple times a day, but we also fill a Cambro with hot water and it gets used for hot chocolate/tea/coffee throughout our trip.Works well for our use. We haven't really cooked in it yet, but we have had no issues when just boiling water so that leads me to believe we will not have issues if we use it to cook.
