It’s usually said that a body swab shouldn’t be used for the neck, this swab is the solution. It’s smaller and doesn’t get stuck in the neck of my instruments and is very soft, it gets the job done nicely. I usually end up with a problem of storing my swabs, it’s nice to say this comes with a baggy for storage.

Nice swab for cleaning the neck of my bass clarinet. Only draw back is the string is weighted on the end and when you try to put it thru the neck you end up with moisture spilling out. If the lead for the swab were stiff, one could easily avoid that mess. I modified mine with a stiff piece of plastic that works well.

More absorbent than my previous felt and silk style swabs. Unfortunately, it is too short for me to run through my full clarinet. If I take off the mouthpiece and neck, and shove the swab into the bell with some emphasis, I can get the weights to come out the other side so I can grab them and pull it through, but then I have to separately swab my mouthpiece and neck. Also, the widest part of the swab is a bit too wide - sometimes it gets stuck on the piece that juts into the inside of the clarinet, and I worry it might cause unnecessary wear on the piece (and possibly impact sound quality)
