This works perfectly for my Conn 8D. It goes on quickly and holds tight. It is pretty well padded so if you are used to a straight leather one this will feel weird at first.

I am a fan of Protec products and have had success with their French horn and trumpet cases . I purchased this handguard for my King Fidelio and it fit nicely . I purchased a second one for a Reynolds Contempora and it does not fit well .

The guard is very comfortable and nice material. I've had it for a couples of months and it's holding up well so far.The only problem is that it doesn't for my particular horn (Reynolds, not sure what size/kind) very well because of the position of the lead pipe. Check out the photos to get a better idea. That being said, I was able to still wrap it in such a way that it is secure and is perfectly comfortable. So in the end I'm very satisfied with my purchase and have no real complaints, especially given the price.

This fits my Hans Hoyer double French horn (about 50+ years old) perfectly. It's easy to put on and very comfortable to use (unlike bulky neoprene wraps).
