Good quality mute bag. This was a Christmas gift for my husband. He's been carrying his mutes in a tote and using his trumpet case as a stand to place the mutes during a concert. This case is great to carry the mutes and as a stand. The compartments are adjustable, so he can also carry his music stand light in it. He loved it!

I will say I don’t use the flap for holding your muted upright to grab as much as I thought I would, but when I need to do fast mute changes, this bag has my back. I have 7 mutes in this bag and I also can fit a 3 piece mouthpiece pouch, a page turning pedal, 3 bottles of different oils, a few pencils, and a cleaning cloth comfortably. This bag is great. If you have a lot of mutes get the six mute bag version

Excellent product to transport your mutes safely to gigs. High quality and nicely padded, too. A great buy !

This mute bag has become just as important as my Marcus Bonna trumpet gig bag! It holds everything! The slots for my mutes are possibly my favorite feature, but really, it’s such a great product I never leave to a performance without it!

I can fit two trumpet mutes in each slot, it's very spacious. I hadn't used the top flap at all in the past few months I've had the bag - I thought it was for the tops of larger mutes to be held in pace when carried, but now, looking more closely at the picture, I think it's more for leaving the top flap down so the mutes to sit bottom-side up on the inner flap on when in rehearsal and you need to grab them easily? And then when you need to take them somewhere you take them out of the holes to put back in the bag? Someone let me know if that's right. Other than that, I like that I can fit one of those mute stands that clip onto a music stand in the side zipper pocket. Plenty of other nifty places to store essentials like oil too. I'm guessing that I could fit all the mutes I was planning on carrying in the smaller 4 sot case if I put two in each slot - assuming it was as spacious in each. Very clever and well designed case!
