Don't buy this chuck.Incredibly poor quality, sloppy machining, slots for jaws visually crooked, not a single cut is aligned properly. All but one jaw fits so poorly they had to force them in at the factory, half stripping out the screws in the process. Chuck is full of metal shavings. Excessive buffing to hide rough machining marks.Listing says made in Austria but the chuck is actually made in India. I believe the earlier 5 star reviews were for the chuck when it was made in Austria. Shame on you Proxxon for selling such garbage, do you even have a QC department at the Indian sweatshop churning these out? Then to add insult to injury, you charge as much as a Sherline 4 jaw chuck, which is made in America and is of the highest quality. I returned the chuck and am going to buy a Sherline chuck and machine it to fit the Proxxon PD 250, which is made in Germany and high quality.Don't buy this chuck.

Maalesef pd250/e için alternatif aynaları kullanamıyoruz. Bu yüzden yüksek fiyatına rağmen bu ürünü almak zorunda kaldım. Pd250/e için olmazsa olmaz bir parça. Bunsuz torna makinası eksik kalıyor. Ürün kalitesi hakkında uzun süredir kullanmadığım için bir şey diyemem. Ama hafif olması bir avantaj. Orijinal 3 çeneli aynanın üçte biri ağırlığında. Çeneler düzgün işlenmiş. Ama çeneleri hareket ettiren vidalar çok ince ve küçük. Çeneler 70mm kadar açıldıktan sonra iş parçasını sıkı kavramıyormuş gibi hissettim. Şu ana kadar sadece alın tornalamada kullandığım için çenelerin kavraması hakkında çok detaylı değerlendirme yapamam. Her şeye rağmen yine de memnun kaldığım bir alışveriş oldu. Çünkü dediğim gibi, alternatifi yok.

You really need one of these for your small lathe. I have the Proxxon 250e and it fits a treat.All jaws independent and easily made to fit awkward shapes in the lathe. Fully recommend buying one as good as this one.

Qualitativ sehr schlecht Verarbeitet.Backen waren komplett fest und rundum mit Grate.Waren nur mit Gewalt herauszubekommen.Ein Eindrehen war ohne Einschleifen der Führungen nicht mehr möglich.(3,5 Stunden Arbeit)Wurden bei der Montage wohl mit Gewalt eingeschoben.Das Teil ist Made in India,zu einem Fürstlichen Preis von euro 133,-.Nach Kontaktaufnahme mit der Fa. Proxxon meinten die salopp ich soll mich an amazon wenden,die wären Verantwortlich?? Der Hersteller schiebt die Verantwortung auf den Händler ab??Fazit:Mein letztes Werkzeug dieses Herstellers.DerVKI wird eingeschaltet!
