This attachment frees your hands for easy on/off operation. To be used for all machines with a maximum power consumption of 5/8hp (500W) with two prong plugs. The switch has a housing of glass-fiber-reinforced nylon. The connecting cord is 3ft. 21" (250cm) in length and the output cord is 19.5" (50cm). Ideal for both portable and stationary machines. If you are working with our 12V hand-held machines, the Footswitch FS is connected to the transformer.

If you haven’t purchased this foot pedal for your Proxxon rotary tool, run out and get one! It’s a game changer. Controlling the workflow with a foot pedal is much safer and more convenient than turning it on and off with the dial on the handle. I have a Proxxon model building and engraving set, 38515. It’s the best rotary tool I’ve owned. The foot pedal makes it even better. I wish I had purchased everything sooner. Can’t recommend it enough. There may be multiple versions, so check to make sure it’s compatible with your Proxxon system when ordering.

This foot switch works as intended. It makes a fairly quiet clicking sound when pressed, and takes a trivial amount of force to hold down. It is not variable resistance, so it will power up devices immediately. It comes with two screw holes for mounting to the floor, but will sit still just fine without that.My only complaint is trivial: This switch is only rated for up to 4 amperes. This is plenty for the Proxxon tools, and for just about anything else I can think of plugging into this pedal. If for some reason you're looking for a pedal that can safely handle more current, then you might want to consider a different product.NOTE: At least at the time of this posting, the picture is incorrect. The plugs on this product are for North American outlets.

What is there to say, you step on the gas, it goes. Steel construction, fairly heavy AC cord. If only buy one accessory for your hot wire table, get this! Being able to use both hands while turning the heat on and off with your foot is invaluable!

After using many foot switch controls to make metal tool tips to sell, I really like this foot pedal the best. The low profile of the pedal is more comfortable and don't let the plastic construction turn you away. Its strong reinforced plastic gives me much more confidence in its durability. It also has a definite on / off click feel for surer control, plus controls the speed of the tool well.I got it for a great price on Amazon, after shopping around. I am used to the foot pedals on a sewing machine. This is so much better than flipping the switch on and off between adjusting the foam sheet keeping the alignment perfect. Also stops the odor of burning foam!

This is the perfect addition to the Proxxon THERMOCUT 115/E Hot Wire Cutter. The Foodswitch allows you to be more efficient. No need to turn off the power manually, the Footswitch does it all for you. Highly recommended

use the foot switch as as a single source of power for all my power tools. This way I power only the tool that I'm using at the time and no hunting for the tools on off switch while it is running

Works with basic functionality of a momentary on switch. Toy-like construction... does not feel durable. It causes a deafening POP through the speakers of my shop stereo whenever it is triggered or released. In this case, you definitely get what you pay for.
