I bought these for switching power to a series of 12volt DC solenoid valves, at one valve per switch. These are momentary-on button switches. The switches work quite nicely, they have a nice feel and a subtle “Click†on actuation and release. The button travel is approximately 3/16†or 5mm. I also used one for switching a 1.5V barbecue grill ignitor, it worked equally well. So far, I have had no issues with melting or shorting. The 12V switches do get slightly warm if held continuously for 30+ seconds, but they do not become hot or stick. (NOTE: I am likely severely over-loading the switches with the amperage produced by my 12V system. Never apply any current to a switch other than what the manufacturer recommended as it may result in reduced component life or pose a safety risk.) The included nuts and washers (two nuts and one washer per switch) make mounting a breeze. For those wondering, the switches are roughly the size of a peanut.

I don't usually write reviewed but I was inclined to after reflecting on some recent projects that used these switches. They are super easy to mount, built like a tank, and feel nice. I used the to gut a Lexicon MPX R1 and build my own controller. Perfect for hobby projects and the like. If you're on the fence about these, just go for it.

They're sturdy enough. Which is what I guess that counts the most.But I could not find a socket that fit the nuts that came with these. Neither metric or standard. If I had to guess the socket would a 14.5mm.15mm socket slipped and 14mm wouldn't go on.So, I had to use some pliers. Not the end of the world, but they marred up the surface I was working on (Stainless steel). So, you have to be careful. YMMV.Other than that, the switch works just fine, has solid terminals and a good feel.

I bought 2 packs,10 total. All worked right out of the package. They seem fairly decent but for my use Id like them higher quality,not saying these are bad but I bought these for a guitar pedal board project.Out of the 10,one is not as smooth functioning but I have put it thru alot of use.For the price vs how many you get, they are great.

So, these are certainly not military-spec switches. Still, for the price they are sturdy, no design flaws apparent and all of them worked as intended when installed.The feel underfoot is solid but easy, and I'll be purchasing these again.

bought 10 over the years, they have all worked and all taken lots of stomps.... I'm back for 5 more. I remember paying in teeth at radioshack many many years ago, so these make me happy

I removed two SPST On/Off switches in a foot switch box and replaced them with these SPST momentary switches. The foot switch box is being used on my Kemper profiling amp to turn on and off the Tuning function and set a tap tempos. They seem to be made well enough for a momentary switch. On/Off clicky foot switches need to be heavy duty and Carling switches are the way to go for those, but these momentary switches are just fine to do simple momentary switching functions

These switches are rock solid and quiet. There isn't the loud "click" you get with other switches. Well built. Mine have been taking steady abuse on my pedalboard for a few months with no signs of wear or tear.

Ordered the 5 but I received 4. The switches are excellent really I just wish I got all 5 instead of needing to reorder more if I need them. The seller gave me 20% back. 3 stars just as a flag to other buyers. Product is 5/5.
