The sheath is very slick, If you tie knots just be aware to give plenty of tail, and dress your knot well, I used it to set a 4 strand anchor and it stayed strong over night

First off, if you are using this for climbing or fall protection make sure you know what you are doing and getting. It is not a “climbing†rope, as it is a Static rope not meant to stretch—so you are more likely to be injured by the sudden stop when the rope catches you compared to a “Dynamic†rope. Static ropes like this are for utility use, hauling gear or securing things during a climb. For its intended purpose, this is a great rope—good UIAA certified strength, easy to tie, well made over all. This is a good “in the middle†rope in terms of weight, strength, and size. It compares well to my other climbing rope. No doubt it is great for many purposes beyond climbing, but you are paying a premium for that UIAA certification and climbing quality. Of course, a name brand climbing rope (ie Black Diamond) is much more expensive, so this is a good deal.

Recently used this to tied down my iron table and chairs during a tropical storm and it worked great (probably overkill). So far no complaints for this set of line!

THIS IS A FANTASTIC QUALITY CORD THAT HAS SO MANY USES. I'VE THROWN IT IN WITH MY CAMPING GEAR AND WE WERE ABLE TO GET A LOT OF GOOD USE OF IT WITH AIDING IN KEEPING THE TARPS UP OVER THE TENT. IT'S VERY DURABLE AND I LOVE THE BRIGHT COLOR. PERFECT FOR ANY OUTDOORSMAN TO KEEP ON HAND.
