Product as described. Worked well. Only complaints were that it took a long time to get to me, and Amazon needs to learn to package products better. Box was all crushed when received.

My bake element blew in quite the dramatic fashion (Pic 1), similar to a fork in the microwave. Yikes! I was so worried I'd have to replace the entire oven! Luckily, I thought to check online to see if the part could be replaced first. This replacement works great and saved me a bunch of $$$. It was very simple to switch out the old with the new. I used wooden clothes pins to hold the connector wires so they wouldn't fall into the back of the oven, and I cleaned out the oven before installing the new element. Pic 2 and 3 are of the new element after installation. The hardest part of the entire process was removing the old connectors as they were a little stuck. Anyone can do this job!

Fairly easy to install (remove the oven door if you can; mine slides off). I don’t have an oven thermometer but it seems to bake evenly. The tool on Amazon when I ordered it to make sure it fit my oven was nice. My only complaint that you can maybe see in the picture is the front right of the element doesn’t touch the floor of the oven. At first I thought maybe I wouldn’t be able to put the lower shelf in because it’s that high up; I can though.

I've actually purchased this element twice. The last one worked for about 4 years, so I'm pretty pleased with the lifespan. It was easy to install and works like a charm.

This part saved me lots of money because I didn't have to buy a new oven. Our oven stopped heating due to the old element cracking in a few spots. Went to google and searched how to fix it, watched a couple videos, ordered this part and boom, fixed. I did have a problem getting the wires off the old one and on the new one, other than that no issues.

The best part of this for me is that it was actually available through Amazon. I searched hardware stores, and department stores, but because of the somewhat unique fittings, I could not find a replacement. Home Depot listed something similar, but was three times the price and unavailable anyway. this was an exact fit for my Moffat range.

The official GE replacement baking element was being sold for $150. This item was compatible and over $100 less.Have run the cleaning cycle. And cranked the oven up to 575F. No issues so far.
